PAI makes controlling equity investments in leveraged buyouts (LBOs).

PAI seeks to acquire majority stakes in mid- to large-sized European companies that are leaders in their market. PAI is particularly focused on transactions in excess of €300 million with equity investments of between €100 and €300 million translating into controlling shareholdings.

PAI invests in five core sectors: Food & Consumer, Retail & Distribution, Healthcare, Business Services and General Industrials. PAI is particularly focused on investing in consolidating sectors and in markets where growth can be sustained through economic and financial market cycles.

PAI invests with a clear goal in mind, to buy good businesses with leading market positions and build fundamentally better companies with significant strategic value for subsequent owners.
