Chris joined PAI in 2008 as a member of the UK team, and has been involved in a number of transactions including United Biscuits, Froneri and VPS.
He started his career at J.P. Morgan in London working in the M&A and Equity Capital Markets teams, where he successfully executed many transactions for clients across a range of sectors.
Chris studied Economics and Politics at Bristol University. His English, French and Portuguese are fluent.
Federico joined PAI in 2007. He is a member of the Spain Team and is also the Head of the Investment Group. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Swissport, Cortefiel, DomusVi and Konecta.
He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group, where he worked for two years. He then spent seven years as a member of the investment banking team at Merrill Lynch in Madrid and London.
Federico studied Applied Economics at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago GSB. His Spanish, English, Dutch and French are fluent.
Joseph joined PAI in 2016 as a member of the Luxembourg Team.
Prior to joining PAI, Joseph completed several internships in law firms and worked for a third-party service provider servicing clients in the alternative investment funds industry.
Joseph holds a post-graduate degree in Business and Tax Law from Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV, a Diplome de Juriste Conseil d’Entreprise (DJCE 2012) as well as a LL.M in European Banking and Financial Law from University of Luxembourg (2014). His French and English are fluent and he is conversational in Spanish.
Jaime joined PAI in 2016 as a member of the Investment Group.
He started his career at Deutsche Bank in investment banking in London within the Financial Institutions Group advisory team, focused on M&A and ECM transactions, where he spent two years. He then spent three years at the Spanish Private Equity firm Portobello Capital.
Jaime studied Business Administration and Law at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid. His Spanish and English are fluent.
Jacopo joined PAI in 2016 as a member of the Investment Group.
He started his career at Bahlsen GmbH in Hannover (Germany) covering a number of roles in Sales & Marketing as well as Business Development departments.
Jacopo studied Business Administration at the University of Miami and holds an MBA from INSEAD. His Italian, English, German and Spanish are fluent.
Maximilian joined PAI in 2016 as a member of the UK Team.
He started his career at Goldman Sachs in the Consumer & Retail M&A advisory team where he spent five years.
Maximilian graduated from the University of Sydney with first class Honours in Econometrics and a specialisation in Finance. His French and English are fluent.
Ragnar joined PAI in 2008 and is responsible for the Nordic Team. He participated in a number of transactions including Perstorp and Atos Medical.
He has more than 10 years of experience in management consulting having worked for Accenture, McKinsey & Company and Booz Allen Hamilton. At McKinsey & Company he was a member of the Corporate Finance and Private Equity practices, advising European Private Equity firms on investments, portfolio company value creation and exits. He also worked as CFO and deputy CEO for Unibet Plc, a European online gaming company.
Ragnar holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Institute of Technology in Linkoping. His Swedish and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French and Danish.
Andreas joined PAI in 2014 as a member of the Germany Team, and has been involved in several transactions including DomusVi, B&B Hotels and Xella.
He started his career in private equity working for Apax Partners in Munich and London as well as for Waterland Private Equity in Düsseldorf.
Andreas graduated with a double degree from Technical University of Munich (Mathematics) and Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (Economics). His German and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French and Italian.
Philipp joined PAI in 2016 and is a member of the Germany Team.
He started his career at Bain & Company in Zurich where he worked from 2001 to 2007. He then became Vice President at Stone Tower Capital, a middle market buyout fund based in New York, before working at AEA Investors, where he was involved in several transactions in the industrial and service sectors and responsible for the German office for seven years.
Philipp graduated in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2001 and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. His German and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French.
Mirko joined PAI in 2007 and manages PAI’s Germany Team. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Xella, Hunkemöller and FTE.
He started his career at McKinsey & Co. in Munich where he spent nine years as a Partner in the Retail & Consumer sector. In 1997 he joined KarstadtQuelle AG, one of the largest non-food retailers in Europe, where he spent four years as an Executive Vice President and a member of the Management Board in charge of marketing/sales/e-commerce and purchasing. He joined Apax Partners in 2001 where he was a Partner and European Head of the Retail & Consumer sector.
Mirko holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Diplom Kaufmann) from the European Business School (EBS Oestrich-Winkel), an MBA from Colgate Darden/University of Virginia, and a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Frankfurt. His German, English and French are fluent.
Laura joined PAI in 2007 as a member of the Spain Team. She has been involved in several transactions including The Nuance Group, Swissport, Grupo Cortefiel, DomusVi and Konecta.
She started her career at Merrill Lynch in the Investment Banking department in Madrid, working principally with financial sponsor clients on the execution of buy-side, sell-side and IPO transactions.
Laura graduated in Business Administration and Law from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid. Her Spanish and English are fluent, and she is conversational in French.
François Nadin joined PAI in 2016 and is a member of the Finance team.
Prior to this, François spent five years as senior officer in the Private Equity industry in a corporate and trust services company in Luxembourg.
François graduated from HEC-Ulg (2011) and has a Master in Business Administration and Finance from Liège. He speaks French (native), English (fluent) and Spanish (basic).
Niklas joined PAI in 2017 as a member of the Investment Group.
He started his career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, focusing on M&A transactions in the German-speaking region, where he spent one year. He then spent two years working in private equity for EQT Partners in Munich.
Niklas studied Business Administration at the European Business School (EBS Oestrich-Winkel) and Columbia University. His German and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French.

He started his career at Hambros Bank in London and New-York working on various debt capital market and advisory transactions. He then moved to Deutsche Bank where he spent eight years in the Financial Sponsors Group working on a number of advisory and financing transactions for European Private Equity Firms.
Colm graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree (Hons) in Economics from the University of Ulster and has an MBA from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam and Wharton Business School in Philadelphia. His English and French are fluent.
Trevor joined PAI in 2017 and is a member of the US Team.
Previously, Trevor was an associate at Water Street Healthcare Partners, a Chicago-based middle market private equity firm. Prior to joining Water Street, he was an investment banking analyst in the healthcare group at Citi in New York.
Trevor holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in economics. He is a native English speaker and also speaks Spanish (conversational) and French (basic).
Ricardo joined PAI in 1999 and manages PAI’s Spain Team. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Mivisa, Cortefiel, Swissport and Konecta.
He started his career at Arthur Andersen in Madrid and subsequently worked at Deutsche Bank in London in the Equity Capital Markets department. He joined Paribas in January 1996 in the Corporate Finance Group, responsible for Spain and Portugal where he advised on numerous Spanish M&A transactions and structured equity offerings for medium-sized companies.
Ricardo graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance, and from the London Business School with a Master’s Degree in Finance. His Spanish, French and English are fluent, and he is conversational in Portuguese.
Carl joined PAI in 2008 as a member of the Nordic Team and has been involved in several transactions including Perstorp, Chr. Hansen, Hunkemöller and Atos Medical.
He started his career at Deutsche Bank in London, where he spent four years in investment banking working principally on M&A and capital markets transactions in the Capital Goods sector.
Carl holds a Master of Science from Stockholm School of Economics and certificate in Business Excellence from Columbia Business School. He is fluent in Swedish and English and he is conversational in French.
Raffaele joined PAI in 2002 and heads PAI’s Italy and US Teams. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Saeco, Coin, The Nuance Group and Marcolin.
Raffaele started his career in the Corporate Finance Department of Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, London and Milan. In 1993, he became one of the founding partners of Vitale Borghesi & Co, which became part of the Lazard Group in 1998.
Raffaele graduated from Rollins College (USA) in Business Administration. His Italian, English and French are fluent.
Evan joined PAI in 2016 and is a member of the US Team.
Prior to joining PAI, Evan spent ten years at CI Capital Partners, a New York-based middle market private equity firm. At CI, Evan executed a number of transactions in the consumer, general industrials and business services sectors. Before CI, he worked at Lehman Brothers, spending time in both its Leveraged Finance and Equity Capital Markets groups.
Evan holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Longwood University. He is a native English speaker and he is conversational in French.
