Richard joined PAI in 2009 and heads the Investor Team and the Capital Markets Team, responsible for managing all interactions with the firm’s investors as well as its debt financing activities.
He started his career at UBS in London and Hong Kong. He then worked at Lehman Brothers (and following its acquisition, Nomura) where he became Managing Director and Head of the European Corporate & Leveraged Finance group, and was also a member of Lehman’s Global High Yield Commitment Committee.
Richard graduated from the University of Birmingham. He is a native English speaker and he is conversational in French.
Michel joined PAI in 1984 and has been Chief Executive Officer since 2015. He was also Chief Investment Officer of the Firm between 2009 and 2016. He benefits from almost 30 years of experience with the firm, where he has been involved in a large number of transactions including Sogeres, Bouygues Telecom, Atos, Equant, Elior, Frans Bonhomme, Kiloutou, Nuance, Swissport, Elis, Vivarte, Saur, Coin, Kwik Fit, Cortefiel, Monier, Xella and EMG.
He started is career by spending two years with Valeo.
Michel graduated in engineering from Ecole Centrale Lyon in 1980 and in Business from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Reims in 1982. His French and English are fluent.
Laurent joined PAI in 2001 and heads the General Industrials Sector Team. He has been involved in a number of transactions including ADB Safegate, InnoVista, FTE, Global Closure Systems and Michel Thierry.
He started his career with Bossard Consultants in Paris and then worked for the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in London.
Laurent graduated from ESSEC in 1990 and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. His French and English are fluent, and he is conversational in Spanish.
Frédéric is the partner in charge of the Food & Consumer and Healthcare Sector Teams.
He first joined PAI in 1993 and spent five years in the Food & Beverage Sector Team. In 1998, he joined Deutsche Bank / Bankers Trust in the European Acquisition Finance Group as a Director and subsequently as Managing Director. In June 2001, he returned to PAI, where he has been involved in a number of transactions including Panzani, Amora Maille, William Saurin, Antargaz, Yoplait, Elis, Panzani-Lustucru, Saeco, Chr. Hansen, UB, Kaufman & Broad, Cerba, Marcolin, Froneri, DomusVi and Labeyrie.
Frédéric studied at ESCP, and started his career with Banque Paribas in the Advisory team of the Private Banking division. His French and English are fluent, and he is conversational in Spanish.
