Before investment

We conduct ESG screening and assessments against PAI’s framework to identify risks and opportunities.

Key assessment areas include environmental practices, decarbonisation roadmaps (aided by our internal carbon price), physical climate and nature-related risks, employee health, safety and satisfaction, ESG governance structures, supply chain engagement, and value creation opportunities.

During investment

We organise post-acquisition sustainability strategy reviews with each portfolio company.

We aim to establish a series of actionable, time-bound ESG plans that are reviewed annually at board level and monitored by PAI’s ESG team throughout ownership.
