Andrea Lampugnani
Investment Associate, Mid-Market Fund
Andrea joined PAI in 2025 as a member of the Mid-Market Fund Team. He has been involved in the Orion investment.
He joined from Goldman Sachs, where he spent four years and worked as an Investment Banking Associate in the Industrial Team, having started there as an Analyst.
Andrea holds a Master’s degree from Bocconi University.
Andrea Degioanni
Principal
Andrea joined PAI in 2025 as a member of the Italy Team.
He previously spent eight years at The Carlyle Group in Milan, where he focused on investments in the industrial and food sectors in Italy. During his time there, he contributed to the growth of the local team and most recently served as a Principal.
Andrea began his career in Investment Banking at UBS.
He holds a MSc in Finance from Bocconi University.
Andreas Holtschneider
Partner, Mid-Market Fund
Andreas joined PAI in 2024 as a member of the Mid-Market Fund Team. He has significant experience in the mid-market, particularly in Germany, and in the industrial, healthcare and business services sectors. He has been involved in the VITREA investment.
Previously, Andreas worked at Cathay Capital Private Equity, where he was a Partner covering the DACH region since 2015. Prior to this, Andreas was a Principal at Silverfleet Capital and an M&A adviser at Ferber & Co in Munich and ING Barings in London.
Andreas holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Applied Sciences in Munich.
Andreas Kumeth
Partner
Andreas joined PAI in 2014 and is Head of the Flagship Fund Team in DACH and the Nordics. He has been involved in several investments including Atos Medical, B&B Hotels, DomusVi, Theramex, Veonet, Xella and Zahneins.
He started his career in private equity at Apax Partners in Munich and London, and also worked at Waterland Private Equity in Düsseldorf.
Andreas graduated with a double degree from the Technical University of Munich (Mathematics) and the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (Economics).
