Meet the team
Xavier Arrom
ESG Officer
Xavier joined PAI in 2026 as a member of the ESG Team.
He joined from Pernod Ricard, where he was Climate Change Manager, responsible for the group’s climate and decarbonisation agenda. Prior to that, Xavier worked at the National Association of Food Industries (ANIA) as Environment and Circular Economy Manager.
Xavier holds a Master of Science in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College London and a dual Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences and Policy from Sciences Po and Sorbonne University.
Christian Atherton
Managing Director
Christian joined PAI in 2020 as a member of the PAI Performance Group with a particular focus on topline related topics.
He has strong management consulting experience and was previously at Simon Kucher, where he was a Director. Prior to Simon Kucher, Christian held various positions at PwC Strategy Group and Bain & Co and he has also worked with a number of leading multinational businesses on an interim / contractor basis. Over the course of his career, Christian has led and participated in a number of projects covering a range of business issues and industries including pricing, sales excellence, operational improvement, analysis of business growth options, corporate strategy and M&A.
Christian has a BSc in International Business from Warwick Business School & ESSEC.
Roméo Bricout-Soto
Associate
Roméo joined PAI in 2022 and is a member of the PAI Performance Group (PPG), working across ESG & Sustainability, Supply Chain, Pricing, Digital, Operations and Talent. Before joining the PPG, he completed an internship with PAI’s ESG Team.
Prior to PAI, Roméo interned in PwC’s Sustainable Performance & Strategy practice, where he focused on due diligence for private equity firms and sustainability-linked projects for financial institutions.
He holds a Master’s degree in management from ESCP and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Université de la Sorbonne.
Aleix Busquets Gonzalez
Head of ESG
Aleix joined PAI in 2026 as Head of the ESG & Sustainability Team. He is responsible for developing PAI’s sustainability strategy and creating value through sustainability initiatives in the portfolio.
He joined from Levi Strauss & Co., where he was Senior Director of Sustainability. He previously held senior sustainability roles at C&A, where he led global sustainability and stakeholder engagement strategies, and Inditex, gaining experience in supply chain and sustainability across international organisations.
Aleix holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Social Responsibility and Ethical Trading from the University of Barcelona and a MSc in European Studies from the University of Helsinki.
Laurie Cameron
ESG Director
Laurie joined PAI in 2022 as a member of the ESG Team.
He joined from PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change practice, where he focused on Responsible Investment, ESG and Impact measurement for three years. Prior to this, Laurie worked for four years within the PwC Deals practice, where he qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant and led financial due diligence projects.
Laurie holds a degree in Economics from the University of Kent and is an IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) qualified practitioner.
Matthew Craddy
Managing Director
Matthew joined PAI in 2025 as a member of the PAI Performance Group, specialising in Digital Transformation and Process Excellence.
With 25 years of industry and management consulting experience, he excels in enhancing end-to-end customer experiences and optimising middle and back-office operations by leveraging a diverse set of levers, including Digital and AI technologies, Shared Service Centres, and Lean methodologies.
His career includes operational leadership roles at GE Capital and over a decade at McKinsey & Company where he was a Partner. Additionally, Matthew has held various roles at Publicis Sapient, PwC, and Voca Link.
He holds an MBA and an MSc in Management Science & Operational Research from Warwick Business School, as well as a BEng in Manufacturing Engineering from Warwick University.
Isabelle Ehrmantraut
Talent Director
Isabelle joined PAI in 2021 as a member of the PAI Performance Group with a specific focus on talent, leadership, and culture.
She was previously with Spencer Stuart and brings more than eight years of experience in Leadership Advisory Services. Her focus is on executive assessment and development, team effectiveness, organisational design, and succession planning.
Isabelle is an occupational psychologist and holds a MA degree in Business Psychology from Cologne Business School and Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.
Fabien Grob
Managing Director
Fabien joined PAI in 2026 as a member of the PAI Performance Group, with a particular focus on digital and IT topics.
He joined from LIPTON Teas & Infusions, a private equity-backed company, where he was Chief Data and Information Officer.
He has also held senior roles in IT and digital functions at Aircall and Coty, gaining experience in managing IT operations, data and transformation initiatives. He started his career in IT consulting at Altran, Bain & Company and Messier Maris & Associés.
Fabien holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University.
