    Christian joined PAI in 2020 as a member of the PAI Performance Group with a particular focus on topline related topics.

    He has strong management consulting experience and was previously at Simon Kucher, where he was a Director. Prior to Simon Kucher, Christian held various positions at PwC Strategy Group and Bain & Co and he has also worked with a number of leading multinational businesses on an interim / contractor basis. Over the course of his career, Christian has led and participated in a number of projects covering a range of business issues and industries including pricing, sales excellence, operational improvement, analysis of business growth options, corporate strategy and M&A.

    Christian has a BSc in International Business from Warwick Business School & ESSEC.

    Marc joined PAI in 2020 as a member of the Portfolio Performance Group.

    He brings over 25 years of experience as an IT and digital expert in large and small organisations, including LBOs. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Mobility Work (GMAO) and, prior to that, as Chief Information Officer at Carambar & Co. Marc has also held senior positions at Vistali, Wavestone, Accenture and AlixPartners.

    Marc holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Physics from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Nancy.

    Roméo joined PAI in 2022 as an Analyst in the Portfolio Performance Group (PPG), working across ESG & Sustainability, Supply Chain, Pricing, Digital, Operations and Talent. Before joining the PPG, he completed an internship with PAI’s ESG & Sustainability Team.

    Prior to PAI, Roméo interned at PwC’s Sustainable Performance & Strategy practice, where he focused on due diligence for private equity firms and sustainability-linked projects for financial institutions.

    He holds a Master’s degree in Management from ESCP and a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science from Sorbonne University.

    Laurie joined PAI in 2022 as a member of the ESG Team.

    He joined from PwC’s Sustainability and Climate Change practice, where he focused on Responsible Investment, ESG and Impact measurement for three years. Prior to this, Laurie worked for four years within the PwC Deals practice, where he qualified as an ACA Chartered Accountant and led financial due diligence projects.

    Laurie holds a degree in Economics from the University of Kent and is an IEMA (Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment) qualified practitioner.

    Isabelle joined PAI in 2021 as a member of the Portfolio Performance Group with a specific focus on talent, leadership, and culture.

    She was previously with Spencer Stuart and brings more than eight years of experience in Leadership Advisory Services. Her focus is on executive assessment and development, team effectiveness, organisational design, and succession planning.

    Isabelle is an occupational psychologist and holds a MA degree in Business Psychology from Cologne Business School and Instituto Universitário de Lisboa.

    Penelope joined PAI in 2023 as a member of the ESG Team.

    She has over 18 years of experience developing and delivering sustainability strategies across a range of industries, having worked at Danone, BT, Marks & Spencer and Vodafone. She joined PAI following two years as a sustainability adviser. Her focus across her career has been on energy, climate change, environmental management, change management and communications.

    Penelope started her career at Lendlease in Sydney before moving to London and Paris. Penelope graduated from the University of Sydney (Australia) and holds a Master’s degree in international studies from the University of Technology in Sydney (Australia).

    Ralph joined PAI in 2020 and heads PAI’s DACH Team. He has been involved in the Apleona, Infra Group and NovaTaste investments.

    He previously worked at Knorr-Bremse, a world leading supplier to the commercial and rail vehicle industry, where he was CFO and member of the Executive Board. He led and executed the company’s initial public offering in 2018. During the previous ten years, he was CFO and member of the Executive Board of MDAX listed Dürr, a leading global mechanical and plant engineering firm.

    Prior to that Ralph was Managing Director, Partner and a member of the Management Committee at the Boston Consulting Group where he spent 17 years in various roles in Germany and helped build the firm’s operations in India.

    Ralph holds a ME degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen and an MBA from INSEAD.

    Otto joined PAI in 2020 as a member of the ESG Team.

    He was previously with Deloitte and brings six years of experience in sustainability consulting. His focus at Deloitte was on energy, change management, sustainable finance / ESG and the circular economy.

    He started his career at the MOITI (Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment).

    Otto holds a Master’s Degree in International Affairs, Economics & Political Science from Northeastern University (Boston).

    She was previously an intern at PAI within the ESG Team in Paris and Munich and has contributed to a number of projects for the firm.

    Frederike holds a MSc in Climate Change, Management and Finance from Imperial College London and a BSc in International Management from Lancaster University and ESB Business School Reutlingen.

    Santy joined PAI in 2023 and is Head of Data and a member of the PAI Performance Group.

    He brings over 10 years of experience in data and artificial intelligence, with a strong focus on deep learning. He joined PAI from Givaudan, where he was AI & Data Lead in the strategy and innovation department. Prior to that he worked in strategy and digital consulting and at Institut Curie as a research engineer.

    Santy holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematical Modeling & Bioinformatics from Université Pierre et Marie Curie.

    Anatoliy joined PAI in 2021 as a member of the PAI Performance Group with a particular focus on supply chain & logistics topics.

    He brings over 13 years of experience in supply chain & operations gained across management consulting and industry roles. As a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group, he served leading consumer products & retail clients across Europe and Asia. Prior to BCG, Anatoliy held various supply chain roles at Amazon, Tesco and Maersk in the UK.

    Anatoliy holds a Master of Science Degree in Logistics & Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Transportation Management from Odessa National Maritime University in Ukraine.

    Head of ESG & Sustainability

    Denise joined PAI in 2022 as Head of the ESG & Sustainability team. She is responsible for developing PAI’s sustainability strategy and creating value through sustainability initiatives in the portfolio.

    Denise joined from The World Bank Group’s private sector arm IFC, where she spent over 11 years based in the US and Europe. She was Head of Investor Relations & Sustainable Finance Coordination and chaired both the ESG Capital Markets Integration and Sustainable Finance Committees. Denise also served as Chair of the global Green, Social and Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles Steering Committee under ICMA.  Denise started her career in the UK, working for Goldman Sachs, GE Capital and Lehman Brothers in various capital market roles.

    Denise holds an MBA in Finance from Cornell University and a MSt in Sustainability Leadership from the University of Cambridge.  She is an alumna of the Emerging Leaders Program at the Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

    Franck joined PAI in 2011 as a member of the Portfolio Performance Group.

    He started his career at Procter & Gamble with management roles at manufacturing facilities in France, Italy and the US. After seven years at P&G, he joined the Operations Practice at McKinsey & Co., focusing on manufacturing, supply chain and capital expenditure, serving clients in the industrial and consumer goods sectors.

    Franck studied Innovation and Production Systems at the Ecole Centrale Paris.

    Séverine joined PAI in 2019 as a member of the Portfolio Performance Group with a specific focus on talent, leadership and culture.

    She has extensive experience in Executive Search and Leadership Consulting helping leaders make the right decisions about the recruitment, assessment and development of talents, the constitution of efficient management teams and corporate governance.

    She spent the early part of her career in M&A and Corporate Finance at Goldman Sachs and as an investment professional at Vestar Capital Partners and Candover.

    She is a graduate from the Solvay Business School and holds an MBA from INSEAD. She is also a certified Executive Coach.
