Meet the team
Ana Aliyari
Managing Director
Ana joined PAI in 2015. She is a member of the Food & Consumer Team. She has been involved in a number of investments including Ecotone, Froneri, Roompot, StellaGroup and The Looping Group.
She started her career at Roland Berger in Paris as a strategy consultant, where she spent two years.
Ana graduated from ESSEC in 2013.
Eliot Baudoin
Principal
Eliot joined PAI in 2018 and is a member of the Business Services Team. He has been involved in several investments including Amplitude Surgical, Cyrus, Ethypharm, Infra Group, MyFlower, SGD Pharma and Veonet.
Previously, Eliot worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley for four years in Paris and New York.
Eliot graduated from HEC in 2014.
Marlène Bazouin
Partner
Marlène joined PAI in 2019 and is a member of the Industrial Goods & Services Team, focusing on Industrial Services. She has been involved in the Apave, Armacell and ECF transactions.
Marlène previously worked at private equity firm Alpha in Paris, where she spent seven years working on a variety of transactions in the consumer and industrials space. Prior to Alpha, she worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs in London for two years. Marlène started her career as an auditor at Mazars LLP in New York.
Marlène holds a double Master’s degree in Financial Engineering from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Benoit Bousquié
Partner
Benoît joined PAI in 2020. He is Co-Head of the Investment Group and a member of the Healthcare Team. He has been involved in the Theramex, Tropicana Brands Group and Zahneins investments.
He joined from Morgan Stanley where he spent four years in the EMEA Healthcare Team, most recently as a Vice-President. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he spent four years at Alpha Private Equity in Paris where he focused on a variety of transactions, notably in the consumer, business services and industrials sectors.
Benoît holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Master’s Degree in Finance and Strategy as well as a Bachelor’s Degree from Sciences Po Paris.
Hui Chan
Managing Director
Hui joined PAI in 2025 and is a member of the Business Services and UK Teams. She has been involved in the HKA and VPS investments.
She joined PAI from Bain Capital, where she spent 11 years in the European Private Equity team, most recently as Managing Director. Hui started her career at Bank of America Merrill Lynch focusing on UK Mergers & Acquisitions.
Hui graduated from the University of Cambridge in Economics and has an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Gaëlle d’Engremont
Partner
Gaëlle joined PAI in 2004 and is the Head of the Food & Consumer Team. She has been involved in a number of investments including Asmodee, B&B Hotels, Chr. Hansen, Ecotone, European Camping Group, Euro Ethnic Foods, Froneri, Innovad, Labeyrie Fine Foods, NovaTaste, Perstorp, Roompot, The Compleat Food Group and United Biscuits.
She started her career at Unibail, where she spent two years, before spending four years at Group Casino.
Gaëlle graduated from ESSEC in 1997.
Daniel Frèches
Principal
Daniel joined PAI in 2024 and is a member of the Industrial Goods & Services Team, based in London. He has been involved in the Alvest investment.
Prior to joining PAI, Daniel spent 10 years in the Industrials Team at Advent International in London, where he was a Director. At Advent Daniel completed multiple successful investments, with a particular focus on Aerospace & Defence, Industrial Conglomerates, and Industrial Tech.
Prior to Advent, Daniel worked at The Boston Consulting Group in Paris and Casablanca, advising Industrial companies on strategy and operations. Prior to BCG, Daniel held various roles at Cinven, Goldman Sachs, and Rothschild.
Daniel graduated from HEC Paris with a MSc in Management.
Julie Gautier
Partner
Julie joined PAI in 2021 as a member of the Food & Consumer Team. She has been involved in the Euro Ethnic Foods, Innovad and NovaTaste investments.
She joined PAI after 12 years of experience in M&A. She was previously an M&A Director at Casino Group. Prior to Casino, she worked at the boutique investment bank Messier Maris & Associés.
Julie holds a Master’s Degree in Finance from Sciences Po Paris.
