Andreas joined PAI in 2014 as a member of the Germany Team, and has been involved in several transactions including DomusVi, B&B Hotels and Xella.
He started his career in private equity working for Apax Partners in Munich and London as well as for Waterland Private Equity in Düsseldorf.
Andreas graduated with a double degree from Technical University of Munich (Mathematics) and Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich (Economics). His German and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French and Italian.
Philipp joined PAI in 2016 and is a member of the Germany Team.
He started his career at Bain & Company in Zurich where he worked from 2001 to 2007. He then became Vice President at Stone Tower Capital, a middle market buyout fund based in New York, before working at AEA Investors, where he was involved in several transactions in the industrial and service sectors and responsible for the German office for seven years.
Philipp graduated in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zurich in 2001 and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School. His German and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French.
Mirko joined PAI in 2007 and manages PAI’s Germany Team. He has been involved in a number of transactions including Xella, Hunkemöller and FTE.
He started his career at McKinsey & Co. in Munich where he spent nine years as a Partner in the Retail & Consumer sector. In 1997 he joined KarstadtQuelle AG, one of the largest non-food retailers in Europe, where he spent four years as an Executive Vice President and a member of the Management Board in charge of marketing/sales/e-commerce and purchasing. He joined Apax Partners in 2001 where he was a Partner and European Head of the Retail & Consumer sector.
Mirko holds a Bachelor’s Degree (Diplom Kaufmann) from the European Business School (EBS Oestrich-Winkel), an MBA from Colgate Darden/University of Virginia, and a PhD (Dr. rer. pol.) from the University of Frankfurt. His German, English and French are fluent.
Niklas joined PAI in 2017 as a member of the Investment Group.
He started his career in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt, focusing on M&A transactions in the German-speaking region, where he spent one year. He then spent two years working in private equity for EQT Partners in Munich.
Niklas studied Business Administration at the European Business School (EBS Oestrich-Winkel) and Columbia University. His German and English are fluent, and he is conversational in French.
